Perspective Students:
I receive many requests from students interested in pursuing
either an M.S. or a Ph.D. in networking at Northeastern
University. Due to the large number of such requests, I am
unable to respond to all of them or to go over all resumes
and transcripts in any great detail.
This is the reasons why I often do not respond
to the very many mails inquiring about support that I
receive weekly. Sorry about that.
The same is true for
all those students that are writing to me to spend a semester (typically
the summer) at Northeastern as intern: Do not expect a reply to your
e-mail, since I receive at least three or more of them each week.
Some useful information: Admission decisions to the M.S. and
Ph.D. program in the Department of Electrical and Computer
Engineering (ECE) at Northeastern University are made by a
committee in the department and not by individual
faculty. Some admitted students (with preference to
Ph.D. students) are given some form of financial aid as
either a TA or an RA. If you are interested in networking as
a research area, I encourage you to apply through the normal
procedures to our department. Once admitted, I (and other
faculty in the networking area) will be more than happy to
discuss the possibility of you joining our group. Please
check the ECE
department's web page for more information.
