Professor Milica Stojanovic Named 2015 IEEE Oceanic Engineering Society Awardee

ECE Professor Milica Stojanovic has been awarded the 2015 IEEE Oceanic Engineering Society's Distinguished Technical Achievement Award.

According to the IEEE, Professor Stojanovic, a Northeastern alumni, was honored for sustained contributions towards the development, analysis and development of underwater acoustic communication and sensing networks.

Along with being a professor in Northeastern’s Electrical & Computer Engineering Department, Milica Stojanovic is also a Guest Investigator at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI), and a Visiting Scientist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She is also an IEEE Fellow.
