Biography

Riaz Luis Ahmed is a visiting student at the Institute for the Wireless Internet of Things at Northeastern University, focusing on O-RAN fronthaul compression and next-generation mobile radio networks. He received a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering from Politecnico di Milano and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Telecommunication Engineering at Politecnico di Milano, with a focus on Internet Engineering. His research interests include wireless networks, mobile radio technologies, and artificial intelligence applications in networking. He has experience in both academic and collaborative innovation projects.
