Biography

I am an Associate Research Scientist with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Northeastern University in Boston, MA, working with Tommaso Melodia.
I earned my Ph.D. in Computer Science from Missouri University of Science and Technology in December 2016. My PhD advisor was Sajal K. Das.
I received my B.S. and M.S. in Computer Engineering with highest honors from University of Pisa, Italy in 2009 and 2011, respectively. I also held a research position at the National Research Council of Italy, where I worked with Marco Conti. My M.S. advisor was Giuseppe Anastasi.

Research Interests

My research interests are the design and experimental evaluation of next-generation AI-based embedded wireless systems for the Internet of Things (IoT) and 5/6G communications. My technical expertise includes (i) FPGA-level embedded wireless system design; (ii) machine learning algorithms and frameworks; (iii) wireless communication standards and architectures; (iv) software-defined radio design and development.
