YE ZHAO IS STUDENT PRESENTATION WINNER AT ECCE 2013


Ye Zhao, a PhD candidate in Electrical Engineering at Northeastern University, was named a Student Presentation Winner for his oral presentation on "Graph-based Semi-supervised Learning for Fault Detection and Classification in Solar Photovoltaic Arrays", at the 2013 IEEE Energy Conversion Congress and Exposition (ECCE) held in Denver, Colorado. Ye was one of eleven students who received this award at this year's conference. In recognition of his excellent presentation, Ye received a certificate and a $100 Amazon gift card.

BRAD LEHMAN APPOINTED EDITOR-IN-CHIEF OF IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON POWER ELECTRONICS (TPEL)


The IEEE Power Electronics Society has announced the appointment of Professor Brad Lehman as Editor-in-Chief of IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics (TPEL). This is a three-year term which commences in 2013. Professor Lehman has served as Associate Editor of the IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics and as Associate Editor of the IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control.
