Antonio Scarvaglieri is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Electrical, Electronics and Computer Engineering at the University of Catania, Italy. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Catania in 2020, followed by his Master of Science in Telecommunications Engineering in 2023. He is also affiliated with the CNIT (National Inter-University Consortium for Telecommunications) Catania Research Unit.
His research is centered on wireless networking and the Internet of Things (IoT), with a particular focus on Low-Power Wide Area Networks (LPWANs). He specializes in designing lightweight and distributed algorithms to solve complex resource management challenges in energy-constrained environments.
