Northeastern University Wireless Networks and Embedded Systems Lab

Biography

Maxime Elkael received a Bachelors degree in Computer Science from Université de Versailles in 2017 and a Masters degree in algorithmic and modeling from Université Paris-Saclay in 2020. From 2020 to 2023, he worked on his PhD thesis about resource allocation for energy-efficient sliced mobile networks at Télécom Sud-Paris/Institut Polytechnique de Paris, under the direction of professors Hind Castel, Andrea Araldo and Badii Jouaber. During his PhD, from January to June 2023, he also has been visiting WiNES lab, where he worked on projects related to energy optimization and radio access network (RAN) delay modeling. He is now a postdoctoral researcher where he keeps working on energy-efficient cellular networks using optimization and graph theoretic approaches.
