Biography

Lorenzo is a Ph.D. candidate and research assistant at the Institute for the Wireless Internet of Things at Northeastern University, under the supervision of Prof. Tommaso Melodia. He earned his B.S. and his M.S. in Computer and Communication Networks Engineering with honors from Politecnico di Torino, Italy in 2014 and 2015, respectively. In 2019, he has been a Research Intern at AT&T Labs, Bedminister, NJ. He is now a collaborator working on the integration of Unmanned Aerial System into the next generations' cellular networks. His research focuses on applying software-defined principled control approaches to distributed wireless networks, with particular focus on software-defined Unmanned Aerial Systems.
