ECE Students Participate in International Competition in Germany

ECE undergraduates Tristan Sweeney, Jason Booth, and Trevor Gale are competing in the ISC-HPCAC Student Cluster Competition in Frankfurt, Germany.

The Northeastern students are a part of the Boston Green Team, which is also comprised of students from Boston University with advisors from Northeastern and MIT.

“The purpose of this competition is to introduce the next generation of students to the high performance computing community and its technology,” according to event organizers.

The competition takes place over three days and will ask 12 student teams of six from around the world to “build a small cluster computer of their own design and run a series of HPC benchmarks and applications.”

Good luck to the Boston Green Team!
