Wang Organized the ROAD4NN Workshop at DAC 2022
Yanzhi Wang, associate professor at ECE, organized the ROAD4NN workshop: International Workshop on Research Open Automatic Design for Neural Networks held on July 10, 2022, at the Design Automation Conference (DAC) 2022. Over 100 virtual attendees registered for the workshop. Wang also served in the Early Career Workshop at DAC 2022.

Jornet Receives Best Paper Award at IEEE WoWMOM Workshop on 6G-Non Terrestrial Networks
ECE Associate Professor Josep Jornet received the Best Paper Award at the Second IEEE WoWMoM Workshop on 6G Non-terrestrial Networks, for the work titled “Joint Terahertz Communication and Atmospheric Sensing in Low Earth Orbit Satellite Networks: Physical Layer Design”, with electrical engineering PhD students Sergi Aliaga and Ali Al Qaraghuli.

Tiwari Receives PC Chair Award
ECE Associate Professor Devesh Tiwari served as the Program Chair of the 31st ACM HPDC’23 conference, which is one of the top-tier, highly-selective HPC conferences. The HPDC Steering Committee recognized Tiwari with the “PC Chair Award” for building this year’s strong & innovative program and inducted him to the HPDC steering committee.
